Privacy policy

This policy explains how StormReady (Nicholas Richardson, the data controller under UK GDPR) handles personal data.
What we collect
The site has no accounts, sign-ups or forms. Any calculators run entirely in your browser and nothing you enter is sent to us. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not set any cookies ourselves.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages). To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses and browser details in short-lived server logs. See Cloudflare's privacy policy. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in running a secure website.
If you email hello@stormready.co.uk, we use your email address and message only to reply, and delete correspondence when it is no longer needed. Mail is forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing.
Affiliate links and third-party cookies
When you click an affiliate link and visit a partner's site, the partner or the affiliate network (for example Awin) may set cookies to record that you came from us so a commission can be paid. Those cookies are controlled by them under their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or erase your personal data, and to object to its processing. Email hello@stormready.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
